Tania Cook

With a history of athleticism in team sports, Tania Cook carries her team spirit and motivation for success into her position at Preference Personnel.  "To move forward in life without limitations, a person must know how to come together as a team," she explains.  Tania’s mentality fits perfectly into the team oriented work environment Candice Dietz bases her company philosophy on.        

Tania's past work experience in management, payroll and safety made Tania an ideal addition to the Preference Personnel team in 2008.  Tania started working as a Staffing Consultant in the Executive/Professional Placement Division specializing in administrative, management, financial and sales positions.  While establishing her role, she also began assisting our in-house safety and payroll departments.  In January 2010, Tania advanced to lead the Administrative Staffing division, where she and Faye Hoven assist companies in finding qualified office professional talent for temporary and temporary-to-hire positions.    

In the past, a temporary employee was often viewed as a person that answered the phone, performed data entry or filing.  Although, these are still common skill sets that we assist employers find today, Tania strives to recruit and place a talent pool that varies in capabilities, work experience, education, and professionalism.  Their division finds employees interested in short-term/project based work in a wide variety of areas including administrative, accounting, marketing, healthcare and more.  “Employers are working hard to reduce overhead,” Tania asserts.  “We partner with employers to develop flexible solutions and cost-saving hiring strategies to supplement a company’s core staff during fluctuating workloads, projects, employee leaves, etc.” 

In her free time, you will most likely find Tania outside with her family and friends actively participating in sports or performing with her guitar or piano.
